I was born in Shizuoka, one of Japan’s most respected tea regions,
and spent years working in Japan’s agricultural cooperatives (JA).
There, I came to understand the rhythms of rural life and build
lasting trust with producers. That experience showed me the
quiet strength of Japan’s nature and traditions—the remarkable
quality that still lives in its fields and hands. With Shiro Matcha,
I’m not just sharing tea. I’m sharing values: care, integrity, and
deep respect for the people who make it possible. Together with
our Japanese team, we’re proud to be based in Australia, bringing
authentic Japanese matcha into daily life in ways that feel natural,
healthy, and beautifully lived.
