Our Genmai matcha powder is a traditional Japanese blend of carefully selected green tea leaves and roasted brown rice.
Lower in caffeine than matcha, Genmai Matcha is popular among health-conscious customers and a wide age range. It’s perfect not only as a hot or iced tea but also as an ingredient in gelato, sweets, and light meals.

How to Enjoy
- Content: 50g (approx. 12.5 servings) / 250g (approx. 62.5 servings)
- Recommended use: 4g per serving (2 scoops with included spoon)
At Normal Temperature
Storage
Avoid moisture, light, and oxygen as much as possible.
Frequently moving the matcha between room temperature and refrigerated/frozen storage after opening can cause condensation, which leads to moisture absorption and deterioration.
Shelf Life & Freshness
When stored at room temperature: about 1 year unopened.
Once opened, it’s best to use within 1 month.
Over time, the color fades to yellowish and the aroma dissipates easily.
Freezer storage can also help maintain freshness.
Handling (Preparation & Serving)
The ideal water temperature is 70–80°C.
If too hot, bitterness increases; if too cold, the matcha doesn’t dissolve well.
For frothing, use a bamboo whisk (chasen) or a milk frother to incorporate air effectively.
